The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has revealed the Victorian/Tasmanian regional winners of two awards, which recognise excellence in the insurance broking profession.
The Broker of the Year Award, sponsored by QBE, goes to an individual broker who is deemed an inspirational role model for the broking community, who has demonstrated excellence in broking practice and client advocacy.
QBE Regional Manager for Victoria & Tasmania, James McCauley said: “Congratulations to Penny. Her passion for customers and the wider CMIB Insurance Services, as well as her dedication to the wider community and charity work really set her apart during the judging process.”
Penelope Collins being recognised for her work in broking practice and client advocacy in regional Broker of the Year Award is just one of many wins for CMIB Insurance Services. This award recognises Penny’s contribution to the broking community and the quality of brokerage services that CMIB Insurance Services strives to provide to its clients. Penny will now go on to compete nationally for the Stephen Ball Memorial Award and Warren Tickle Memorial Award.
NIBA CEO Dallas Booth states that VIC/TAS awards had a significant number of applications this year and the finalists represent the cream of the crop.
This is a prestigious national award that identifies and recognises high performing broker professionals. The award consists of five individual regional awards culminating in a national award for the Stephen Ball Memorial Award for Insurance Broker of the Year. Entries are assessed by the state/territory judging panel throughout May and finalists are announced at regional events in May/July. All state/territory finalists are eligible for the Stephen Ball Award.
